Gina has been playing the clarinet since she was 10 years old, getting involved with orchestras both in and outside of her school. After completing A Levels, Gina went on to obtain a BA Honours in Music at Colchester Institute. She was taught by expert clarinet player and lecturer Charles Hine and graduated in 2008. During her time at Colchester Institute, she lead the Symphonic Wind Orchestra, who held numerous shows each year. In her final year, Gina was most noted for premiering two works in the UK by Michigan composer and performer Theresa Martin.

"My main passion is contemporary music, particulary 21st Century music."

More recently, Gina has returned to Colchester Institute to complete a Master of Arts Degree in Music, once again led by Charles Hine.
